Bi Yanchun Holds Talks with Resbekov, Director of Kazakhstans BI Group

On January 16, Bi Yanchun, Chairman of CRIG, held talks with Arman Lesbekov , Director of Kazakhstan's BI Group. The two sides had in-depth discussions on cooperating to develop railway, mining construction, energy infrastructure and other projects in Central Asia and other regions, and reached broad consensus.

Bi Yanchun warmly welcomed Lesbekov and his delegation. He pointed out that China and Kazakhstan were good neighbors and strategic partners. China Railway had participated in many infrastructure projects in Kazakhstan. BI Group was a leading local construction enterprise in Kazakhstan. He hoped the two sides would strengthen in-depth cooperation in railways, mining construction, energy infrastructure and connectivity to achieve complementary advantages and coordinated development.

Lesbekov thanked CRIG for the warm reception. He stated that China Railway Group Limited is a world-renowned comprehensive construction group with fruitful achievements in rail transit infrastructure. Under the Belt and Road Initiative and Kazakhstan's Bright Path Initiative, BI Group would strengthen close cooperation with CRIG to build a new benchmark for China-Kazakhstan friendship.
