Source: Date:2025年04月02日

At 10:18 AM on March 26, the first pile foundations for the Tieshan Port Sea-Crossing Bridge and the Shuidong River Grand Bridge—part of the newly built Hezhou-Zhanjiang High-speed Railway HZZQ3 section in Guangxi—were simultaneously drilled, marking the first drilling operations in the Guangxi section of the project. China Railway Eryuan Engineering Group was responsible for the design, while China Railway Major Bridge Engineering Group undertook the construction.

Located in Hepu County, Beihai City, Guangxi, the Tieshan Port Sea-Crossing Bridge has a total length of 8,473.478 meters. It is designed with 578 piers and a total of 542 spans, including cast-in-place beams and simply supported box girders, with a maximum span of 128 meters. This bridge is a key control project along the Hezhou-Zhanjiang High-speed Railway and is currently the longest sea-crossing railway bridge in Guangxi.

The Hezhou-Zhanjiang High-speed Railway is designed for a maximum speed of 350 km/h, with a total mainline length of approximately 139 kilometers, of which the Guangxi section spans about 63 kilometers, with bridges accounting for 78% of the length. This railway is a key national interregional passenger line and is scheduled for completion and operation by the end of 2028.
