On April 13, the first catenary wire of the newly built Xiangyang-Jingmen high-speed railway, constructed by Wuhan Railway Electrification Bureau Group under CREC, was successfully installed between Yicheng North and Shuanghe West sections, marking the railway’s full transition into the electrification construction phase.
The Xiangyang-Jingmen high-speed railway is 116.23 kilometers long, with a designed speed of 350 kilometers per hour. Once operational, it will significantly reduce travel time across central China and bring substantial convenience to regional economic development and public transportation.
