Two IEC International Standards Released by CREC
Source: Date:2025年04月25日

Recently, two IEC international standards, led or co-developed by China Railway Liuyuan Group under CREC, were successively released, marking a new breakthrough for CREC in international standard development.

The international standard IEC SRD 63302-1:2025 Collection and Analysis of Use Cases for Smart Cities – Smart City Intelligent Operation Center – Part 1: Advanced Analytics, co-led by China Railway Liuyuan Group, focuses on the neural center of smart cities—the Intelligent Operation Center (IOC). It introduces, for the first time, a unified conceptual model and capability framework, defining standards for cross-domain data exchange and infrastructure, advancing urban management from isolated intelligence to integrated collaboration.

The international standard Railway Applications – Current Collection Systems – Simulation Verification of the Dynamic Interaction between Pantograph and Overhead Contact Line, in which China Railway Liuyuan Group participated, specifies the functional requirements for simulation methods used to evaluate the dynamic interaction between pantograph and overhead contact lines. It provides a standardized basis for verifying the compliance and accuracy of pantograph-catenary dynamic coupling simulation data.

The International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) is one of the world’s three most authoritative international standardization organizations. Its standards are widely used in fields such as energy, communication, automation, and safety. The formulation of international standards typically goes through six stages—proposal, preparatory, committee, enquiry, approval, and publication—making the process long, complex, and challenging.
