On April 3 local time, Ugandan Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja attended the groundbreaking ceremony for the 43-kilometer road upgrade project in Uganda’s oil region, undertaken by China Railway Seventh Group.
In her speech, Prime Minister Nabbanja highly praised the performance of the China Railway Seventh Group in previous Ugandan projects and expressed great expectations for the smooth execution of the new project. She stated that the road upgrade will significantly improve traffic conditions along the route, inject new momentum into the local economy, enhance public welfare, and further advance Uganda’s national infrastructure development.
The 43-kilometer road upgrade project in Uganda’s oil region is one of the Ugandan government’s key infrastructure initiatives. Upon completion, it will greatly improve traffic in the oil region and provide vital support for local economic development.
