The inauguration ceremony of the first urban light rail in Vietnam was held on January 13 in Hanoi, which came ahead of the 72nd anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Vietnam. Officials from China and Vietnam jointly cut the ribbon for the project, which marks that Vietnam, a country where motorcycles are the most significant conveyance, is being driven into an era of green travel by light rails. This is another major achievement following the opening and operation of the China-Laos Railway, a key project of China's "Belt and Road" initiative. The project of Hanoi Urban Railway Cat Linh-Ha Dong Route was implemented by CRSG with EPC contract.
