Application of rectangular PJM on metro station construction in China
Shasan Station is the third station of Shenzhen Metro Line 12 Phase II project, located at the intersection of Ditang Road and Shajing Road in Bao'an District. It is an underground two-story station. The Tunnelling length of pipe jacking section is 70 meters and realizes "zero" clearance tunnelling along the left and right lines to form the final metro station cross section. It passes under a cast-in-place concrete culvert of 11.5 m × 3.6 m. The tunnel overburden is 6.5 meters and is about 2 meters away from the culvert.
Project Background
This project features shallow overburden, large cross-sections and zero clearance. the pipe jacking method has been introduced to metro station construction, which marks a major breakthrough in the technological innovation of pipe jacking machine, as well as a significant innovation in the application of new-type underground excavation technologies for metro stations.
