Green TBMs lead technological revolution of the industry

Giampilieri Fiumfreddo Section is part of Messina Catania High-speed Railway Line. This project features the first application of the green concept in TBM industry, where the green concept is embodied through intelligent control and low-carbon environmental protection.

Project Background

Messina-Catania Railway Line is part of the initiative to develop sustainable transportation promoted by the European Union, to create the TEN-T European Corridor system, which will connect and improve transportation in Europe.
