TBM comes back to France, the birthplace of TBM technology

The Line 16 of Grand Paris Express is one of the four new lines of the Grand Paris Express. Located in the Seine-Saint-Denis department, stretching from Saint-Denis Pleyel to Noisy-Champs, it will connect the northern and eastern suburbs of Paris. It is 275 kilometers long and boasts 10 stations.

Project Background

As an important connection of the automatic super metro network in the Paris suburbs and a part of the development plan of the Paris metropolis, the project will ease the increasing passenger flow between the Paris suburbs and relieve the saturation of several radial rail transit lines.
